Account & Data Deletion
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
No More Mental Load (“NMML”) gives users the ability to request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
You may initiate account deletion from within the NMML app or use the instructions below if you cannot access your account.
Delete Your Account in the NMML App
To request deletion from within NMML:
1. Sign in to your NMML account.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Profile Settings.
4. Scroll to Delete account.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your deletion request.
Important: Account deletion is different from canceling paid access, leaving a household, or allowing an entitlement to expire.
Request Deletion Outside the App
If you cannot access your NMML account, you may request account and data deletion by emailing:
Use the subject line:
Account Deletion Request
Please send the request from the email address associated with your NMML account whenever possible.
For security and privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing the request. Please do not send passwords, payment card information, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Once a verified deletion request is processed, NMML will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account except where information must be retained for legitimate purposes such as:-
- Legal or regulatory obligations
- Accounting and transaction records
- Fraud prevention and security
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing agreements
- Protecting the rights and safety of NMML or others
Information that must be retained will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Shared Household Data
NMML is a household-based service, so some information may belong to or be shared with other members of your household.
Deleting your individual account does not necessarily delete information that belongs to another household member or information that other authorized household members still need as part of their household.
Where appropriate, NMML may remove your personal association with shared household information while preserving information belonging to remaining authorized household members.
If you are the only remaining authorized adult in a household and request deletion of the household and its associated data, we will process eligible household data as part of the deletion request.
Child Accounts and Profiles
A parent or legal guardian may request deletion of a child's NMML account, profile, or associated personal information.
Requests concerning a child may require verification that the requester is the child's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to make the request.
Purchase and Transaction Records
Deleting your NMML account does not necessarily require deletion of transaction records that NMML or its payment providers must retain for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, legal, or regulatory purposes.
Where required, these records may be retained separately from active NMML household data.
How Long Does Deletion Take?
We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period and within any timeframe required by applicable law.
Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups before being removed through normal backup-retention processes.
