Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 2, 2026
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
Welcome to No More Mental Load (“NMML,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the No More Mental Load mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing access to NMML, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. About No More Mental Load
No More Mental Load is a household organization and family management platform designed to help individuals and families organize responsibilities, tasks, schedules, important dates, household information, and other aspects of family life.
NMML may provide features including household profiles, task management, reminders, planning tools, calendar integrations, AI-assisted features, shared household access, and other organizational tools.
NMML is intended to assist with organization and planning. It is not intended to replace professional medical, legal, financial, mental health, emergency, or other professional advice or services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating and maintaining an NMML account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You agree not to share your login credentials with unauthorized individuals or use another person's account without permission.
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us promptly.
3. Household Accounts and Members
NMML is designed around shared households.
A household owner or authorized adult may invite other individuals to participate in the household. Household members may have different permissions depending on their account type and role.
Information entered into shared areas of NMML may be visible to other authorized members of the household.
You are responsible for choosing whom you invite to your household and for ensuring that information you add about other household members is appropriate and authorized.
4. Child Accounts and Information
Parents or legal guardians may create or manage profiles or accounts for children within their NMML household.
Child accounts are intended to operate as part of a parent- or guardian-managed household and may have more limited permissions than adult accounts.
A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising a child's use of NMML and for determining what information about a child is appropriate to enter into the Service.
5. Purchases and Access
Certain NMML features may require a purchase, subscription, trial, promotional access, or other entitlement.
Prices, payment terms, and the access included with a purchase will be presented at the time of purchase.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of those payment services may also be subject to the provider's terms and policies.
Access to paid NMML features is determined by the entitlement associated with your household or account.
We may correct access or entitlement errors caused by technical problems, duplicate transactions, fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, refunds, or payment-processing errors.
6. Founding Family Access
NMML may offer a limited Founding Family purchase that provides permanent household access to features included in the Founding Family offer.
“Permanent” or “lifetime” access means access for the supported life of the No More Mental Load Service and does not guarantee that NMML, any particular feature, or any third-party integration will exist indefinitely.
Features may evolve, be replaced, or change as NMML develops.
A Founding Family purchase applies to the eligible household associated with that purchase and is not intended for resale, commercial redistribution, or transfer between unrelated households.
7. Trials, Subscriptions, Promotions, and Coupons
NMML may offer trials, subscriptions, discounts, coupons, promotional access, or complimentary access.
The terms of a particular offer may vary and will be communicated with that offer.
Promotional offers may be limited, modified, or discontinued where permitted by law.
Complimentary or promotional access does not create a right to continued paid access unless specifically stated.
8. Refunds
Refund eligibility, when applicable, is determined by the terms presented at the time of purchase and applicable law.
Purchases processed through an app store or third-party payment provider may also be subject to that provider's refund procedures and policies.
Issuing a refund may result in the termination or modification of the access associated with that purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. User Content and Household Information
You retain ownership of information and content you submit to NMML.
By submitting information to the Service, you give NMML permission to process, store, organize, display, and transmit that information as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Service.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to NMML.
You are responsible for the information you enter into NMML and should not submit information that you do not have the right to provide.
10. AI-Assisted Features
NMML may provide features that use artificial intelligence to organize information, interpret submissions, suggest tasks, assist with planning, or generate responses.
AI-generated results may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your particular circumstances.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before relying on it or taking action based upon it.
.
NMML does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated output.
Do not rely on NMML's AI features for emergencies or as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, mental health, safety, or other professional advice.
11. Calendar Integrations and Third-Party Services
NMML may allow you to connect third-party services such as calendar providers.
By connecting a third-party service, you authorize NMML to access or interact with information from that service according to the permissions you grant.
Third-party services are operated independently from NMML. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, policies, or actions.
You may be able to revoke third-party permissions through NMML, your device, or the applicable third-party account.
12. Reminders and Notifications
NMML may provide reminders, notifications, calendar events, or other automated communications.
These features are provided as organizational aids and should not be relied upon as the sole method for remembering critical responsibilities, appointments, deadlines, medication, safety matters, emergencies, or other time-sensitive obligations.
Delivery may be affected by internet availability, device settings, third-party services, technical failures, or other circumstances outside NMML's control.
13. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse NMML.
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Access another person's account without authorization
- Attempt to bypass NMML security or access controls
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
- Introduce malicious software or harmful code
- Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except where permitted by law
- Use NMML to harass, threaten, abuse, or harm another person
- Submit content that you do not have the right to provide
- Use the Service for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, NMML, or the security and integrity of the Service.
14. Intellectual Property
NMML and its associated software, design, branding, logos, original content, features, and technology are owned by or licensed to No More Mental Load and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use NMML for its intended purpose.
They do not transfer ownership of NMML or its intellectual property to you.
15. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, improve, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue features as NMML evolves.
We do not guarantee that every feature, integration, or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Service, but NMML may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, outages, third-party failures, or circumstances outside our control.
16. Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using NMML at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if an account is used fraudulently, violates these Terms, threatens the security or operation of the Service, or where suspension or termination is otherwise reasonably necessary or legally required.
Termination of an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of all associated information where retention is necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
Account and data deletion requests are handled according to our Privacy Policy and Account & Data Deletion process.
17. Disclaimers
NMML is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or completely accurate.
NMML is an organizational tool. Decisions you make using information stored in or generated by NMML remain your responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, No More Mental Load will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from missed reminders, inaccurate user-entered information, AI-generated output, third-party service failures, calendar synchronization issues, unauthorized account access, or service interruptions.
Our liability will not be limited where applicable law does not permit such limitation.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless No More Mental Load from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as NMML evolves, features change, or legal and regulatory requirements change.
When we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of NMML after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
22. Privacy
Your use of NMML is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
